Stadco still retains traditional sheet metal skills and can offer prototype component manufacture via a number of routes. Stadco works with a variety of materials and methods to suit exacting customer requirements.

Stadco offers hand lay-up GRP as a low volume low investment route - from individual parts up to complete body structures.

Stadco's highly skilled sheet metal work team can supply parts in both aluminium and steel by traditional handmade processes or as is more the norm today, through production intent cast iron draw tools and hammer forms.

Stadco has a number of presses dedicated to prototyping and low volume, capable of up to 1300 tonnes with a bed of 4m, these hydraulic presses are capable of producing large a-class skin panels.

Stadco prototype also makes trim tooling for vacuum forming and aluminium tooling for injection mouldings.
