Overview

During this program gateway the Stadco team aims to gain "hardpoint approval" This is to ensure the basic components of the vehicle (mechanical and structural) are defined dimensionally, thus establishing the products generic form and concept with the customer.

The Architecture

Stadco's concept engineers start with the body structure and closures strategy ensuring it is developed in conjunction with the vehicle package and styling.

Our experience and knowledge ensures adequate structural sections, load paths and good connections that are key to the body's structural performance will meet the crash criteria.

The concept group in combination with the styling staff work with Stadco's in-house FEA department to establish the vehicle's body weight and performance efficiency at this stage of the development.
