Our team's experience covers a range of different CAD systems so they can deliver excellently engineered products in the appropriate format for our customers. This also allows us to utilise the best software for any given design.

Stadco employs the power of Alias, IcemSurf, Opticore, Catia V5, Ideas NX, Unigraphics, Delcam, Dyna, Nastran and LaserCut.

Stadco has a dedicated CAD systems support team who investigate new technologies, work with the designers to create 'best-practice' processes and train project members to exploit the latest design techniques.

Stadco has invested substantially in Product Data Management (PDM) systems using the latest software whilst blending it with our own unique processes to create a customised platform that controls not only CAD data within a project but all Microsoft documents and emails. In addition the automated workflow within our SmarTeam package controls data transmittals, change control and DMU.

The engineering design team can use parametric modeling solutions. The parametric modelers are aware of the characteristics of components and the interactions between them. By maintaining relationships between elements a model can quickly be manipulated, allowing variant or face-lifts of vehicles to be achieved in very competitive time scales.
